SLA8: The Black Tulip

     This week, I read The Black Tulip. This book is about Cornelius. One day, a country asked people that if there is someone who can grow up the black tulip. The main character, Cornelius, has two important things. First one is tulips. He loves the tulips. Second one is Rosa. He really loves her. After he saw the bulletin board, he wants to win the prize. But he has enemies, and he was putted in prison by them. He was going to die. So, will Cornelius grow the first black tulip?
     This book's writer is Alexandre Dumas. He also wrote Le Comte de Monte-Cristo. This is my favorite work because this story is very thought-provoking. Just like this favorite work, The Black tulip is also thought-provoking story.
